Processing plant in the oil and gas industry is not easy to build as it involved engineering, procurement, construction and commissionig. This are all cost that need to be very detail study from the designing stage untill the process plant can be start up. Most companies involved must be of a very established in the related field especially in civil engineering, piping, electrical & instrumentation, mechanical, fire & gas. This are the interfaces discipline that need to have full coordination during the construction stages follow by mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and pre trial run.

The project need to be plan in detail so as to cope with the interfaces and the equipment delivery scedule. Schedule must be acheived in whatever condition and there is no excuses as everything has been set. Even there is any unexpect condition it still need to have a back up plan. For instance if plan A failed we need to have plan B and if B failed we are ready to be backed up by C plan.  Safety and health is the most important factor during the construction stage as all manpower and staff involved must follow all the safety requirements. As safety is for everybody business therefore a daily tool box need to be carried out every morning before work can start. The safety supervisor need to carry out full site monitoring during the construction stage.
